About Make-up workshop:

· The lesson is 2-3 hr long, in a small group of 4-10 participants

· Cost: €25 per person (You can also book an individual lesson for €40)

· You will learn:

§ How to apply daily and evening make-up correctly

I will demonstrate and talk you through the most important steps in skin care and in applying make-up:

§ Cleansing face/ Moisturising/Primer

§ Foundation/ Concealer/ Powder

I will teach you some secrets about make-up techniques and some tricks to emphasise your beauty and cover any imperfections.

The main difficulty here is to create radiant nude makeup, that would accentuate your natural beauty. All you need is makeup foundation tone that perfectly suits your complexion, neutral eyeshadow shade, mascara to make your eyes sexy, a bit of blush...
On the one hand there is almost no makeup, while on the other vampy lips of different shades. Everything from our fave orange and red lipstick shades to burgundy and dark purple ones. And..thick eyebrows! No more thin over-plucked eyebrows...

Sexy or Scary Halloween Makeup...?

For most Halloween is a time to wear a super creepy costume, but others prefer to experiment with madly sexy makeup or a hair colour they can't wear every day. Some combine both - creating intimidating glamour look...wearing a wild lip colour (that is so not you), long false lashes, extremely dark eye shadows (you can create your own colours by crushing a few eye shadows and mixing with a bit of Vaseline), and finishing with white powder – for a colourless face impression.

Come to my 2 hour Halloween Makeup workshop and learn some useful tips before you’re off to the party!

Summer 2011 makeup trends - PASTELS!

I run informal, small classes, in a friendly atmosphere, covering different topics in makeup. A lesson cost £25 per person, and it lasts about 2 hours.

You can choose a day and a venue (North London - Finchley, East London - Hackney and Stoke Newington or South London - Crystal Palace), or I can come to your house or place of work, and run a workshop there (for 4-10 women).

Come to one of my classes, bring your makeup bag, so I can check the products you're using, and we'll both decide if it's time for you to get a new foundation, new eyeshadows or lipstick...I can introduce some trends in Summer 2011 makeup look, or teach you how to achieve natural/fresh look, evening makeup (smokey eyes) or any other look you'd like to improve. I will demonstrate and talk you through the most important steps in applying makeup.

Sunday 8 August.
Another Summer Makeup Workshop was organised in August. The event happened in the big, beautiful house, kindly offered by Jess to host us, for our Sunday afternoon session. The day was very sunny, and although the mixture of Pimms, wine and hot temperature didn't help while applying foundation, I think that we all enjoyed it and had a great time. Some 'bubbly and nibbles' made things go with a swing. And it didn't result in too much smudged mascara!
I explained a few basic makeup applications, and showed the girls how to create a Smoky eye look, suggested using cake cup eyeliner instead of liquid, demonstrated how to wear lipstick well, using Fix lips base first, to keep the colour on for longer, and revealed some tricks and tips...

I received a couple of comments after the workshop:

'The workshop was extremely informative, delivered go a very friendly and professional manner. All questions were addressed as promised and techniques were taught through useful, practical application on everyone attending. Learnt loads - would definite recommend. Thanks very much!'
